Improved Racing designed this billet aluminum rear galley plug (generally generally known as the “barbell”) for Gen III and IV GM LS collection engines to enhance oil move and fully eradicate soiled engine oil from bypassing the filter. This half is beneficial for changing the plastic OEM plug in any engine construct. Improved Racing’s barbell incorporates a second O-ring that fully seals off the soiled oil from the clear oil, forcing 100% of oil move by the filter. Sharp corners had been prevented and machined as clean fillets to enhance oil move, whereas the bullnose tip helps clean oil move to the oil filter. The shaft diameter is smaller than the OEM plastic barbell to attenuate move restriction. A threaded gap was added in order that the barbell may be simply eliminated with any M4x0.7 screw.
