A ‘Take a look at Entry Port’ lets you see the packets on an ethernet hyperlink. Straight helps 10-, 100- or 1000Base-T hyperlinks.
Meant for use with the open supply Wireshark program, or equal.
Duplicates hyperlink packets to an ethernet port and/or a USB port.
The SharkTap implements what Cisco calls a SPAN port: It’s a change with port mirroring enabled. Additionally known as an aggregating faucet. Will *not* route from TAP to community.
