Laptop Batteries are one of the most important things to consider if you want your laptop to last longer. Most of the battery problems that I have seen lately have been from the overuse of the batteries. The easiest method of testing a laptop battery is to simply use a charger and hook the laptop up to the test device. After a few hours you can hook the laptop into the charger and then return it to the laptop to see if it still shows signs of life.
If after this process you find that the battery is still showing no sign of life then you should try not to use the AC adapter for a few more days. This is especially true if you replaced the original AC adapter with a new one that has a shorter lifespan. If you don’t have an AC adapter, you can also hook your laptop up to a different power source until you can find a way to get a new battery. New laptop batteries may be more expensive than using laptop batteries but they should last longer and save you money in the long run.
